The xNetworking module is a part of the DSC Resource Kit, which is a collection of DSC Resources produced by the PowerShell Team. This module contains the xIPAddress and xDnsServerAddress resources that allow configuration of a node’s IP Address and DNS Server Address.

To install xNetworking Module – PowerShell Desired State Configuration Resource Kit, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

C:\> choco install dsc.networking

To upgrade xNetworking Module – PowerShell Desired State Configuration Resource Kit, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

C:\> choco upgrade dsc.networking
