West Wind WebSurge is a quick and easy Web load testing tool that makes short work of capturing or entering a series of Web requests and playing them back under load. The goal is to make the process easy with minimal setup so you can quickly and frequently test a site for load characteristics.

Use our built-in capture tool to capture and filter content from Web Browsers or Windows applications, use Telerik's Fiddler or manually create sessions using plain text HTTP headers in a text file. All HTTP request data is stored as plain HTTP headers, so it's easy to create, edit or generate test sessions.

Capture HTML requests, AJAX, REST and SOAP services. Capture and provide POST data, custom headers - anything HTTP supports you can use in your session. Once captured play back the session under load by running for a specified time and number of simultaneous sessions. See summarized results, a few simple graphs and examine individual requests and failures.

To install West Wind WebSurge, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

C:\> choco install westwindwebsurge --version 0.55

To upgrade West Wind WebSurge, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

In cases where actual malware is found, the packages are subject to removal. Software sometimes has false positives. Moderators do not necessarily validate the safety of the underlying software, only that a package retrieves software from the official distribution point and/or validate embedded software against official distribution point (where distribution rights allow redistribution).

Chocolatey Pro provides runtime protection from possible malware.
