DeviceIOView allows you to watch the data transfer between a software or service and a device driver (DeviceIoControl calls).

For each call to a device driver, the following information is displayed:

Handle, Control Code, number of input bytes, number of output bytes, the name of the device handle, and all the input/output bytes, displayed as Hex dump.

To install DeviceIOView, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

C:\> choco install deviceioview

To upgrade DeviceIOView, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

C:\> choco upgrade deviceioview

Virus Scan Results

In cases where actual malware is found, the packages are subject to removal. Software sometimes has false positives. Moderators do not necessarily validate the safety of the underlying software, only that a package retrieves software from the official distribution point and/or validate embedded software against official distribution point (where distribution rights allow redistribution).

Chocolatey Pro provides runtime protection from possible malware.
