This package was approved as a trusted package on 11/9/2018.

Docker is an open platform for developers and sysadmins to build, ship, and run distributed applications. This package contains the docker client for Windows and not the Docker engine to run containers on Windows hosts.

NOTE: Docker client for Windows is not a Docker container engine for Windows. You can use this to manage your Linux and Windows machines running as Docker hosts. You might want to have a look at the "docker-for-windows" package.

To install Docker CLI, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

C:\> choco install docker

To upgrade Docker CLI, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

C:\> choco upgrade docker

Virus Scan Results

In cases where actual malware is found, the packages are subject to removal. Software sometimes has false positives. Moderators do not necessarily validate the safety of the underlying software, only that a package retrieves software from the official distribution point and/or validate embedded software against official distribution point (where distribution rights allow redistribution).

Chocolatey Pro provides runtime protection from possible malware.

This package has no dependencies.
