fonts.extension has passed automated testing.
This is not the only check that is performed so check the package page to ensure a 'Ready' status.
Please visit https://gist.github.com/191428c42cd8fc5d31a0ebc5a16c99eb for details.
This is an FYI only. There is no action you need to take.

chocolatey-ops (reviewer) on 12 Jan 2019 04:49:22 +00:00:

fonts.extension has passed automated validation. It may have or may still fail other checks like testing (verification).
NOTE: No required changes that the validator checks have been flagged! It is appreciated if you fix other items, but only Requirements will hold up a package version from approval. A human review could still turn up issues a computer may not easily find.

Guidelines

Guidelines are strong suggestions that improve the quality of a package version. These are considered something to fix for next time to increase the quality of the package. Over time Guidelines can become Requirements. A package version can be approved without addressing Guideline comments but will reduce the quality of the package.

  • The iconUrl should be added if there is one. Please correct this in the nuspec, if applicable. More...
  • The licenseUrl should be added if there is one. Please correct this in the nuspec, if applicable. More...
  • The nuspec has been enhanced to allow packageSourceUrl, pointing to the url where the package source resides. This is a strong guideline because it simplifies collaboration. Please add it to the nuspec. More...
  • ProjectUrl and ProjectSourceUrl are typically different, but not always. Please ensure that projectSourceUrl is pointing to software source code or remove the field from the nuspec. More...
  • Release Notes (releaseNotes) are a short description of changes in each version of a package. Please include releasenotes in the nuspec. NOTE: To prevent the need to continually update this field, providing a URL to an external list of Release Notes is perfectly acceptable. More...
  • Title (title) matches id exactly. Please consider using something slightly more descriptive for the title in the nuspec. More...
Notes

Notes typically flag things for both you and the reviewer to go over. Sometimes this is the use of things that may or may not be necessary given the constraints of what you are trying to do and/or are harder for automation to flag for other reasons. Items found in Notes might be Requirements depending on the context. A package version can be approved without addressing Note comments.

  • The package maintainer field (owners) matches the software author field (authors) in the nuspec. The reviewer will ensure that the package maintainer is also the software author. More...

gep13 (reviewer) on 14 Jan 2019 08:32:23 +00:00:

Thanks for getting this added! There are a few packages that would be able to make use of this!

Can you remove the readme.md from the package, and then we can get this approved.

gep13 (reviewer) on 18 Jan 2019 07:58:37 +00:00:

Actually, it has been pointed out that this package is essentially a duplicate of this one:

https://chocolatey.org/packages/chocolatey-font-helpers.extension

I don't think it makes sense to have another package that does the same thing.

Let me know what you think.

AnthonyMastrean (maintainer) on 04 Feb 2019 18:12:19 +00:00:

Ah, I hadn't found that package. I'll make sure it works for me. But, then we an remove this one.

gep13 (reviewer) on 05 Feb 2019 16:48:13 +00:00:

Sounds like a plan. Let me know how you would like to proceed.

AnthonyMastrean (maintainer) on 05 Feb 2019 20:29:59 +00:00:

I'm good with the other package. Can you reject this one? Or do I have to "delete" it?

gep13 (reviewer) on 06 Feb 2019 11:25:52 +00:00:

Rejecting as per maintainer request.
Status Change - Changed status of package from 'submitted' to 'rejected'.

# Fonts Extension

The necessary flags to the `Folder.CopyHere` method for copying font files into
the Windows Fonts special folder DON'T WORK. Luckily, some senior person within
Microsoft provided example code that _works_!

https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/deploymentguys/2010/12/04/adding-and-removing-fonts-with-windows-powershell/

## Getting Started

You should add the extension package as a dependency to your package.

```xml
<dependencies>
    <dependency id="fonts.extension" version="1.0" />
</dependencies>
```

## Cmdlets

In cases where actual malware is found, the packages are subject to removal. Software sometimes has false positives. Moderators do not necessarily validate the safety of the underlying software, only that a package retrieves software from the official distribution point and/or validate embedded software against official distribution point (where distribution rights allow redistribution).

Chocolatey Pro provides runtime protection from possible malware.
