This package was approved by moderator flcdrg on 4/3/2017.

This tool allows users to install DoD production PKI, Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) test PKI, and External Certification Authority (ECA) CA certificates into their Windows and Firefox certificate stores. The installed certificates are necessary for access to many DoD web sites, including those accessed from personally-owned equipment. Example sites include DISA Enterprise Email and Army Knowledge Online.

Note

This package auto-detects whether to install the 32-bit or 64-bit version.

To install DoD InstallRoot, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

C:\> choco install installroot

To upgrade DoD InstallRoot, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

C:\> choco upgrade installroot
