Please see the organizational deployment guide
2. Get the package into your environment
Option 1: Cached Package (Unreliable, Requires Internet - Same As Community)-
Open Source or Commercial:
- Proxy Repository - Create a proxy nuget repository on Nexus, Artifactory Pro, or a proxy Chocolatey repository on ProGet. Point your upstream to https://community.chocolatey.org/api/v2/. Packages cache on first access automatically. Make sure your choco clients are using your proxy repository as a source and NOT the default community repository. See source command for more information.
- You can also just download the package and push it to a repository Download
-
Open Source
-
Download the package:
Download - Follow manual internalization instructions
-
-
Package Internalizer (C4B)
-
Run: (additional options)
choco download intel-graphics-driver --internalize --version=15.40.36.4703 --source=https://community.chocolatey.org/api/v2/
-
For package and dependencies run:
choco push --source="'INTERNAL REPO URL'"

choco upgrade intel-graphics-driver -y --source="'INTERNAL REPO URL'" --version="'15.40.36.4703'" [other options]
See options you can pass to upgrade.
See best practices for scripting.
Add this to a PowerShell script or use a Batch script with tools and in places where you are calling directly to Chocolatey. If you are integrating, keep in mind enhanced exit codes.
If you do use a PowerShell script, use the following to ensure bad exit codes are shown as failures:
choco upgrade intel-graphics-driver -y --source="'INTERNAL REPO URL'" --version="'15.40.36.4703'"
$exitCode = $LASTEXITCODE
Write-Verbose "Exit code was $exitCode"
$validExitCodes = @(0, 1605, 1614, 1641, 3010)
if ($validExitCodes -contains $exitCode) {
Exit 0
}
Exit $exitCode

**BCURRAN3'S PACKAGE NOTES:**
* DISCLAIMER: This package uses an AutoHotKey script to attempt automatic installation of the program. I have done my best to make this work for the majority, there are always a number of x-factors that can cause a 'hiccup.' Some events are timed and may timeout and thus fail on slower than expected systems. It is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you monitor the installation of this package to make sure it worked/installed correctly in your environment. There are situations such as upgrades and forced reinstalls that may not work and you will have to manually enter input to get the desired result. If you report an issue in GitHub and the program is in active development, I will try to enhance the AHK script and this package in the future.
* This package downloads the installer via a version specific URL. It should never fail unless the version is completely removed from the vendor website.
* This version of Intel Graphics Driver supports 32 bit and 64 bit OSes, newer versions only support 64 bit OSes. You may want to [pin](https://github.com/chocolatey/choco/wiki/CommandsPin) this version if you are using a 32 bit version of Windows.
* If you are using computer manufacturer "customized" drivers (Dell/HP/others) and getting a "These drivers are Intel generic drivers. They do not include customizations that your manufacturer might have added to optimize your computing experience." and you wish to use these "generic" drivers, here's the way to do it - ONCE you have to:
1. Download the driver install program from Intel (look at chocolateyInstall.ps1 for link)
2. Unzip the install program to a directory (it's a self-extracting/executing ZIP)
3. Locate the .INF file for the driver (Graphics\igdlh64.inf), right click and choose to install it
4. You might have to wait a bit for it to complete - it will notify you
5. Uninstall your current Intel display driver from Device Manager and DO NOT reboot.
6. In Device Manager tell it to search for updated hardware, it should find and use the new one.
7. After finding the Intel graphics driver, check to make sure it's the new version. (Worked for me on first go.) Change it if not.
After you've done this, the drivers can be updated regularly via the Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows installation program, and Chocolatey of course! CYA Statement: I did step #5 first when I did this on multiple computers.

In cases where actual malware is found, the packages are subject to removal. Software sometimes has false positives. Moderators do not necessarily validate the safety of the underlying software, only that a package retrieves software from the official distribution point and/or validate embedded software against official distribution point (where distribution rights allow redistribution).
Chocolatey Pro provides runtime protection from possible malware.
