Tinc is a Virtual Private Network (VPN) daemon that uses tunneling and encryption to create
a secure private network between hosts on the Internet.
Because the tunnel appears to the IP level network code as a normal network device, there
is no need to adapt any existing software. The encrypted tunnels allows VPN sites to share
information with each other over the Internet without exposing any information to others.

To install tinc, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

C:\> choco install tinc

To upgrade tinc, run the following command from the command line or from PowerShell:

C:\> choco upgrade tinc

In cases where actual malware is found, the packages are subject to removal. Software sometimes has false positives. Moderators do not necessarily validate the safety of the underlying software, only that a package retrieves software from the official distribution point and/or validate embedded software against official distribution point (where distribution rights allow redistribution).

Chocolatey Pro provides runtime protection from possible malware.

This package has no dependencies.
